Volunteering
The Botanic Garden is fortunate to have a band of volunteers, who have given invaluable help since before the Garden opened in 2000. From buggy driving, tour guiding, gardening, photographing, office administration, doing leaflet drops, collecting costumes and helping out with lambing, the role of a volunteer can be as varied or focussed as the volunteer wants it to be. Some volunteers can only help seasonally or for an afternoon a month, others have weekly routines or can only work weekends.
If you interested in becoming a volunteer, we have a dedicated Volunteer Co-ordinator, Peter Bernays. He will chat to you about what you might be interested in doing and what will suit both you and the Botanic Garden. You can contact Peter on 01558 667108 or e-mail pbernays@gardenofwales.org.uk.
