7. Dipping Ponds

Schoolchildren or youngsters in family groups can join special pond dipping sessions, using nets and buckets to look for creepy crawlies in these tiny ponds. They can then take them to the Aqualab where they can study the food chain - from algae through to beetles. Look out for details of these sessions during holiday times.
