33. Welsh Country Walk
The Garden is gradually opening up its organically farmed land and surrounding estate to visitors. Not only do we want to give you the chance to escape the crowds and find picturesque picnic spots, but it is also gives us an opportunity to explain how our organic farm encourages wild plants to thrive. The first new footpath onto the estate takes in a woodland, hay meadow and country lane, bordered by traditional hedgerows and an array of wayside flowers. Keep an eye open for the rich variety of bird life here, and in the years to come, little bursts of poetry. The walk is about 1km long and stout footwear is recommended.
